Here’s a 2 minutes and 11 seconds Top 3 Ways to Help your Baby with Teething Issues video. See full transcript below.
Teething is an important part of your child’s development. Most infants start developing teeth between four to seven months of age. Generally, children have their complete set of teeth by the age of three. Before their teeth emerge through the gums, some babies may experience the discomforts of teething symptoms while others, fortunately, don’t. However, there are also unusual signs that may go with your baby’s teething symptoms. This includes fever, runny nose, and diarrhea. If your children experience those symptoms, see your physician as soon as possible.
A teething baby may experience sore or tender gums when teeth start to emerge. Gently rub the gums of your baby with your clean finger or by using a small cool spoon or wet gause. It’s also advisable to offer them with a cool teething ring when they start biting something as well as cold foods when they eat solid foods. If these methods don’t help, you may talk to your doctor about any effective relief and solution to your baby’s discomfort.
